(I have, though I do not read Asgardian languages as well as I used to - mostly Doug and Jubilee and Amanda and I use them for passing notes in meetings and saying things in secret where we need people not to know what we are saying)

(That sounds like a lot of fun. Like a secret club only cool people can get in. Asgardian language is kind of tricky to read. Some words can be mistaken for others if you aren't careful.)

If you're interested in keeping fluent and Doug's busy, Angelo knows the Light Elven language of Asgard too and would probably be up for random chats. ;)

Jubilee knows Dark Elven too, for that matter.

It is weird, I didn't think I would be this into languages.

As I recall, Dark Elven (I am sorry, every time I type this, my spellcheck wants to correct it to Elvis) has better profanity, but Light has better euphemisms for sex. I may have that backwards.

But I am fairly sure Jubilee swore at us a lot when she was stuck as a pixie.

I like to pepper it in from time to time when I hit my thumb with a hammer or something.

It works great for cursing out certain mercenaries who try to steal the last taco on the plate too.

Tandy, I'm always willing to teach someone if Doug's busy.

Sweet. I know a bit as we had to deal with some of the Dark Elves and brushing up on it would be fun. Plus, no one will ever know what we are saying.

It's useful for scribbling notes you don't want anybody to read over your shoulder.

It would be refreshing to speak it with someone that has experience. Regardless if you are rusty or not. Who knows, you may get better.

Letting them close when they get off the ground means I can do things like introduce them back to the ground shoulders-first.

Which allows them to get a few rounds in if they are quick enough. The next one is in a few days, I'm going.
